4th Grade Discovery Teams
Fourth Grade Discovery Teams Are in Action!
Our Fourth Grade Discovery Teams have officially launched for the year, meeting every Tuesday and Thursday in the Discovery Room. These hands-on learning teams are diving into real-world science as they observe and care for the live animals in our classroom.
Students are learning to collect and record data such as light, humidity, temperature, and weight measurements from the animal habitats. They’ll use this data to monitor environmental changes and animal growth, and later create presentations to share their findings.
Along the way, students are also gaining responsibility by feeding, watering, and caring for the animals each week. This unique experience blends science, technology, and stewardship — helping students develop both strong research skills and a deep respect for living things.
We’re so proud of our Discovery Teams for their curiosity, teamwork, and dedication to learning through hands-on discovery!
