2nd Grade Living Museum

Step Into History: 2nd Grade Living Museum – March 6

On Friday, March 6, our elementary chapel will transform into a time machine.

Our 2nd graders are hard at work preparing for the annual 2nd Grade Living Museum. Each student has selected a historical figure, spent time reading and researching, and is now crafting a speech to bring that person to life.

From inventors and explorers to leaders and world changers, our students will step into character and share what they’ve learned with parents, students, and school staff. You may find yourself shaking hands with a president, hearing from a pioneering scientist, or listening to the story of a courageous trailblazer—all portrayed by our very own 2nd graders.

The Living Museum is more than a presentation. It’s an opportunity for students to:

  • Practice research and reading skills

  • Develop confidence in public speaking

  • Deepen their understanding of history

  • Learn how one life can make a difference

We look forward to seeing the creativity, effort, and growth that has gone into this year’s event. Mark your calendar for March 6—we can’t wait to watch history come alive.
