Congratulations to Summit third grader Sydney B.!

Sydney was named the Broken Arrow Fire Department’s Third Grade Fire Prevention Poster Contest Winner and earned a once-in-a-lifetime ride to school in a fire truck—hard to top that for a Monday morning.

This year’s theme, “Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium-Ion Batteries in Your Home,” highlights how everyday devices can become fire hazards if they’re damaged or improperly charged. Sydney’s artwork captured that message and helped raise awareness for families across our community.

We’re proud of Sydney for using her creativity to promote safety and represent Summit Christian Academy so well. Way to go, Sydney—Eagles soar, and apparently they ride fire trucks, too.
