Elementary Parent Instructions

Morning Drop-Off

Elementary students should use the Broadway drop-off line, entering on Broadway beginning at North 5th Street and proceeding toward the front of the school.

  • Please pull forward as directed by staff.
  • Students should exit on the passenger side whenever possible.
  • Parents should remain in their vehicles.
  • Please do not block driveways or intersections.

🔵 Lower Elementary Afternoon Pickup

Lower Elementary families use the Blue Line for afternoon pickup.

The Blue Line serves:

  • Pre-K
  • Transitional Kindergarten
  • Kindergarten
  • 1st Grade
  • Older elementary siblings assigned to the Blue Line

For afternoon pickup, use 2nd Street to access the rear of the Elementary Building.

🟡 Upper Elementary Afternoon Pickup

Upper Elementary families use the Yellow Line for afternoon pickup.

The Yellow Line serves:

  • 2nd Grade
  • 3rd Grade
  • 4th Grade

The Yellow Line follows the same route as morning drop-off. Enter on Broadway beginning at North 5th Street and proceed toward the front of the school.

General Elementary Pick-Up Guidelines

  • Use only the pickup line assigned to your family.
  • Display your Summit car tag from your rearview mirror.
  • Pull forward as directed by staff.
  • Parents are responsible for buckling children into vehicle safety seats.
  • Please remain with your vehicle during pickup.
  • Do not park in areas marked No Parent Parking.
  • Please help us be good neighbors by keeping driveways and intersections clear.
  • Drive slowly and watch carefully for students and pedestrians.

AfterCare: Students registered for the AfterCare program may be picked up at the SELC Office after 3:30 p.m.

Please review the campus traffic map before arriving on campus.

Intermediate Parent Instructions

🟠 Intermediate Parent Instructions

Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Intermediate students in Grades 5–8 should use the Orange Line for both morning drop-off and afternoon pickup.

  • Enter from Commercial Street.
  • Follow the Orange Line route shown on the campus map.
  • Parents who need to park should use the designated Intermediate Parent Parking area.
  • Do not park in areas marked No Parent Parking or Staff Parking Only.
  • Please follow staff directions and keep surrounding intersections and driveways clear.
