From Online Re-Enrollment…

On average, approximately 90% of eligible Summit Christian Academy families returned to our school for the next school year.

We’ve worked hard to make the re-enrollment process as user-friendly as possible, offering Online Re-enrollment.

While our families universally love this program and it works well, we aren’t quite satisfied. We want to make things even easier for SCA families. That’s what led to this year’s launch of Continuous Enrollment.

…To Continuous Enrollment

Once you sign a Continuous Enrollment contract this year, included in the 2018-2019 re-enrollment packet, you will never have to go through the re-enrollment process again.

From this point forward, your child will automatically be enrolled for the upcoming school year. The continuous enrollment system benefits you (no redundant questions) and lets us maximize our resources by effectively planning for staffing and curriculum.

Families who are moving or otherwise do not intend for his/her child to return will simply notify the school in writing before April 15.

FAQs

Continuous Enrollment is a process that allows parents to complete paperwork only one time, at the initial enrollment of their students at Summit Christian Academy(SCA), and forgoes the annual re-enrollment process. From the first accepted application, your child will be enrolled at SCA throughout his/her education until graduation, unless you notify the school in writing otherwise.

Rather than an opt-IN annual re-enrollment process, SCA’s annual re-enrollment will become an OPT-OUT process. In other words, if you’re coming back after signing your “Continuous Enrollment Agreement,” you’ll never have to worry about re-enrolling again.

Continuous Enrollment will make enrollment easier and more efficient for our loyal families that return to SCA year after year. Every year we ask all parents to go through a lengthy re-enrollment process. With approximately 90% of our families returning every year, our goal is to make this process as easy as possible.

CE also allows us to maximize our resources at the highest level of excellence. Until our families commit to returning each year, we cannot finalize staffing, course offerings, curriculum, and other materials. With CE, we will have increased accuracy of enrollment numbers for the new school year, allowing us to plan accordingly.

It benefits you, as a parent, in that you will not have to go through a yearly re-enrollment process completing lengthy forms and reading redundant information. Once your child has been admitted to SCA, you will never have to worry about re-enrollment again.

CE benefits your child by ensuring guaranteed placement for the new year. With CE, you will be securing a place for your child until you notify us otherwise. This will also allow SCA to have curriculum and other materials ready for his/her arrival the first day of school.

Continuous Enrollment will be implemented for enrollment of the 2019-2020 school year. This year, enrollment for the 2018-19, parents will complete the online re-enrollment process for one last time and electronically sign an acknowledgment and agreement for Continuous Enrollment.

[/spb_text_block] [/spb_accordion_tab] [spb_accordion_tab title=”What will I need to do once Continuous Enrollment is implemented?” accordion_id=”what-will-i-need-to-do-once-continuous-enrollment-is-implemented-” icon=””] [spb_text_block animation=”none” animation_delay=”0″ simplified_controls=”yes” custom_css_percentage=”no” padding_vertical=”0″ padding_horizontal=”0″ margin_vertical=”0″ custom_css=”margin-top: 0px;margin-bottom: 0px;” border_size=”0″ border_styling_global=”default” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]

Absolutely nothing. Your student will automatically be enrolled in the next grade level for the upcoming year.

You may school office any time and update your information, such as changes in phone numbers, addresses, or contacts.

[/spb_text_block] [/spb_accordion_tab] [spb_accordion_tab title=”What will it cost?” accordion_id=”what-will-it-cost-” icon=””] [spb_text_block animation=”none” animation_delay=”0″ simplified_controls=”yes” custom_css_percentage=”no” padding_vertical=”0″ padding_horizontal=”0″ margin_vertical=”0″ border_size=”0″ border_styling_global=”default” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]

There is no additional cost to sign up for Continuous Enrollment.
All FACTS payment plans will automatically roll over to the next school year. The new tuition rates will continue to be withdrawn from your account based upon the payment plan initially chosen, either paid in full or 10-month deductions. If you wish to change your payment schedule, simply contact our Financial Office to discuss these changes prior to April 15. Yearly enrollment and curriculum/technology fees will be automatically withdrawn by FACTS in May on your regularly scheduled payment date.

Please contact our Financial Office by April 15 if you do not plan on enrolling your student for the upcoming school year.

While we would love to see your student eventually graduate from SCA, we realize that sometimes major life changes or unique circumstances may prevent that from happening.

Every year, after the new tuition rates are published, you will have until April 15 to notify us in writing of your change in plans without paying the enrollment and curriculum/technology fees for the upcoming year.

Once written notice has been received, your student’s spot will be opened up for new SCA applicants.

[/spb_text_block] [/spb_accordion_tab] [spb_accordion_tab title=”If our plans change, can we re-enroll after we withdraw?” accordion_id=”if-our-plans-change–can-we-re-enroll-after-we-withdraw-” icon=””] [spb_text_block animation=”none” animation_delay=”0″ simplified_controls=”yes” custom_css_percentage=”no” padding_vertical=”0″ padding_horizontal=”0″ margin_vertical=”0″ border_size=”0″ border_styling_global=”default” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]

Yes, if space is available. If you withdraw before April 15 but change your mind and want to return after that date, your family will be responsible for a $250 late fee for each student, in addition to the enrollment and curriculum/technology fees.

[/spb_text_block] [/spb_accordion_tab] [spb_accordion_tab title=”What if I have a new student or sibling to enroll at SCA?” accordion_id=”what-if-i-have-a-new-student-or-sibling-to-enroll-at-sca-” icon=””] [spb_text_block animation=”none” animation_delay=”0″ simplified_controls=”yes” custom_css_percentage=”no” padding_vertical=”0″ padding_horizontal=”0″ margin_vertical=”0″ custom_css=”margin-top: 0px;margin-bottom: 0px;” border_size=”0″ border_styling_global=”default” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]

You will need to go through the initial online application and enrollment process. You may begin this process by going to the SCA website of following the link at:

https://sca-ok.client.renweb.com/oa/login.cfm?memberid=423

[/spb_text_block] [/spb_accordion_tab] [spb_accordion_tab title=”What will the new re-enrollment process look like?” accordion_id=”what-will-the-new-re-enrollment-process-look-like-” icon=””] [spb_text_block animation=”none” animation_delay=”0″ simplified_controls=”yes” custom_css_percentage=”no” padding_vertical=”0″ padding_horizontal=”0″ margin_vertical=”0″ custom_css=”margin-top: 0px;margin-bottom: 0px;” border_size=”0″ border_styling_global=”default” width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”]

Next year, during the 2019-2020 re-enrollment period, typically between February and April, all of our families will receive a notification of the new tuition rates and a reminder of the opt-out deadline of April 15. This means that nearly 90% of our families will have the convenience of ignoring this message and doing absolutely nothing!
