Read Across Summit Week
Turn the Page Together:
Elementary Read Across Summit Week is Here!
February 9–13: A Week of Stories, Friends, and Fun!
Get ready for one of the most exciting weeks of the year! Read Across Summit Week is almost here, and we can’t wait to celebrate the joy of reading together as a school community.
What is Read Across Summit Week?
This special week is all about shared stories, read-aloud moments, and the connections we build through books. From Monday, February 9th through Friday, February 13th, we’ll be turning pages, making memories, and discovering new adventures in the world of reading!
Daily Themes & Activities
Each day has its own special theme to make reading even more fun:
Monday: Turn the Page with a Friend
Bring your favorite stuffy or reading pillow to share stories with throughout the day. Whether it’s a beloved teddy bear or your comfiest cushion, bring along a reading buddy!
Tuesday: Let’s Listen and Learn
Grab a flashlight and your comfiest blanket to get cozy and ready to relax with read-alouds! We’ll create the perfect atmosphere for listening to amazing stories.
Wednesday: Stay Comfy and Connected
Wear your favorite sweatshirt with jeans and enjoy stories that bring us together. Comfort is key when you’re diving into a great book!
Thursday: Step Into a Story
Wear your craziest socks and get ready to jump into a good read! Let your feet do the talking as we celebrate a fantastic week of reading.
Friday: Share the Love, Share a Story
Donate a new book to your class and help share the stories you love. This is a wonderful way to grow our classroom libraries and spread the joy of reading.

Why Reading Together Matters
When we read together, we build community. We share laughter, discover new worlds, and learn from one another. Read Across Summit Week reminds us that books aren’t just about words on a page—they’re about the connections we make and the memories we create.
Mark your calendars for February 9–13, and let’s Turn the Page Together!
