Spiritual Emphasis Day

Spiritual Emphasis Day 2026

This week, our Intermediate and High School students gathered at the South Campus for Spiritual Emphasis Day—a meaningful time set aside for worship, reflection, and spiritual growth.

Students were encouraged and challenged by Pastor Heath Corrales and Pastor Jackson Sandefer, two dynamic voices who spoke truth with clarity, energy, and purpose. Their messages pointed students toward a deeper understanding of faith, identity, and what it looks like to live out their beliefs with intention.

Spiritual Emphasis Day is not a break from what we do—it is central to who we are. Creating space for students to encounter God, ask meaningful questions, and grow spiritually is part of Summit’s core purpose. These moments help shape hearts and minds, reinforcing that faith is not just an add-on to education, but the foundation of it.

We are grateful for the opportunity to invest in our students’ spiritual lives, and partner with leaders who share our heart for raising students who are grounded in truth and equipped to live it out every day. A sincere thank you to the The Assembly Youth leadership team for their intentional planning, energy, and care in making this day possible. Their investment in our students made a lasting mpact.
