Parents Make A Difference!

Parents Make It All Come Together!

Basketball season is officially in full swing at Summit Christian Academy, and our gyms are buzzing. From Elementary players learning the joy of game day, to Intermediate athletes sharpening their skills, to High School teams battling it out on the court—this season is already delivering the excitement.

But here’s the truth: great game nights don’t just happen. They’re powered by parents who step in behind the scenes. That’s where our DREAM TEAM of volunteers comes in.

What Is the DREAM TEAM?

It’s not secret handshakes or matching jackets (though that would be cool). It’s simply parents who help make home basketball games run smoothly by serving in two key areas:

  • Concessions – Because hungry fans are cranky fans.

  • Gate – Welcoming guests and keeping things organized at the door.

These roles are straightforward, social, and honestly kind of fun. You get a front-row seat to the action, a chance to support our students, and the satisfaction of knowing you helped make the night work.

Why It Matters

  • It supports our student-athletes

  • It builds school community

  • It shows our kids that school isn’t just something we attend—it’s something we invest in

And let’s be real: many hands make light work. When more parents jump in, no one gets stuck doing “all the things.”

Ready to Jump In?

If you’ve ever thought, “I should probably help at some point…”—this is your moment. Basketball season is the perfect on-ramp to volunteering, and we’d love to have you on the DREAM TEAM.

👉 Sign up. Show up. Be part of the win.

Our teams are already bringing the hustle on the court. Let’s match that energy in the stands—and behind the scenes.
