Dear Parents,

We are thrilled to announce that we will be going live with the PikMyKid Dismissal Application on Tuesday, August 15th, the first day of school! This new system is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance your children’s safety during dismissal. Across the country, PikMyKid has proven to simplify dismissal procedures, reduce traffic congestion, and most importantly, improve overall safety.

Why PikMyKid?

PikMyKid offers a range of features that put you in full control of your child’s dismissal. With this app, you can:

• Easily change pick-up modes - in our case that involves Car Line and Walk Up.
• Delegate pick-up duties to another individual.
• Transition your child to an ‘After School’ program.
• Schedule future pick-up arrangements.
• You’ll also receive notifications for every change you make, ensuring you are always informed about your child’s dismissal status.

What You Need to Do:

1. Download the App: If you haven’t already, please download the PikMyKid app from your respective app store (available for both Android and iPhone users). The registration process is simple, and you’ll be guided step-by-step.

3. Car Tags: Car Tags will be provided by your classroom teacher at Meet the Teacher. When registering in the app, use the number on this tag. You will be designated as the Primary Parent and will have control over your child’s dismissal.
4. Practice Makes Perfect: We encourage you to practice using the app. This will help you familiarize yourself with the system before we officially go live on Thursday.

Important Dates:

• Tuesday, August 15th: PikMyKid goes live! Place the PikMyKid Car Tag in your front window, and the app will take care of the rest.
• We'll send reminders and additional tips on Tuesday morning.
